1.      Lift the drain cover to inspect the drain. Check if the drain is filled with water. You need to find the correct drain and the source of the blockage which will be in-between the full and empty drains.

2.      Join together some drain rods and the head of a plunger and thrust it towards the blockage. Rotate the rods in a clockwise direction in order to push it forward.

3.      Add more drain rods until you feel you have found the blockage then move the plunger to remove the blockage.

4.      Turn all the hot taps on in your house to check all the water is running smoothly. Return the drain cover and wash the drain rods.
